The Influence Of Ultraviolet Absorber On The Color Of Explosion-proof Film

First, solar ultraviolet rays are blocked when they are irradiated to the anti-explosive film with ultraviolet absorber. The function of the absorbent is to absorb the energy of ultraviolet rays.

Second, all UV absorbers will have their effectiveness diminished over time. The category, quantity and location of UV absorbers determine the relative stability of these absorbers.

Third, many explosion-proof film factories add UV absorbers to the pressure-sensitive adhesives they use, and studies have found that the stability of this absorber is far less than the UV absorbers added to the base film.

Fourth, the ultraviolet absorber added to the base film used is between 280 and 380 nanometers, and the explosion-proof film can block 99 percent of ultraviolet radiation.

Fifth, in some accelerated aging experiments, the explosion-proof membrane can still block 98 percent of harmful ultraviolet radiation after 2000 hours of exposure in the Xenon lamp accelerated aging experiment cabin. This aging is basically equivalent to the aging of outdoor explosion-proof membranes for 3 to 5 years of daily use. In the experiment under the same conditions, the UV absorber is added to the pressure-sensitive adhesive. When the explosion-proof film is installed, the UV blocking ability is generally 96 percent to 98 percent , and the blocking ability reaches 93 percent after 900 hours of outdoor exposure. After a few years of outdoor exposure, this type of explosion-proof film has very little UV protection. The explosion-proof film can effectively protect human health after the ultraviolet protection disappears in other products!
